VIPS - Volunteers In Public Schools

VIPS support our teachers, staff and students. We’ve always been very fortunate at SOE to have a very strong volunteer base! Check out the volunteer opportunities available within our school. If you have any questions about volunteering at Scanlan Oaks, please contact one of SOE’s VIPS Coordinators, Sue Ramsay, Kelly Metzger or Amy Ashmore.

Additional opportunities to volunteer will come up throughout the school year, and you’ll most likely be notified of these via flyers in your child’s Friday Folder or via the PTO web site.

Important!

FBISD requires all volunteers to complete a Criminal History Authorization form every year. You can fill this form out and submit it electronically.

your child's teacher or to the VIPS Coordinator’s (Gina DiPuma’s) in-box in the VIPS Workroom at the school.

CRIMINAL HISTORY FORM

Please note - Fort Bend ISD requires all volunteers to complete a Criminal History Background form. If a Criminal History Authorization is rejected, the volunteer will be contacted in writing by the Human Resources Department.

It is only required that you fill out the Criminal History form at one campus, although you may volunteer at more than one school.
