Staff Appreciation
Staff Luncheons

During staff luncheon week parents provide lunch for the entire staff and give the teachers a break from cafeteria duty.  You can help by cooking, baking, or bringing in a store bought item, as well as supervising the kids in the cafeteria during their lunch time.  The staff will be divided according to grades:
  • Mondays: K, 1st, Outclass, Office Adminsitration
  • Wednesdays: 2nd, 3rd, Resource/Aide Staff
  • Fridays: 4th, 5th, Cafeteria, Custodian Staff.
If you would like to help please contact Deneen Dineen or Andrea Cordover.

Week of 11/1: Fall Harvest Lunch
Week of 2/1: Winter Comfort Lunch
Week of 4/19: Spring Fresco Lunch

Staff Birthdays

Each month we celebrate staff birthdays by providing an array of goodies.  You can help by cooking, baking, or sending in drinks or other non-food items with your child in the morning. If you would like to help please contact Deneen Dineen or Andrea Cordover.  Dates are: 9/25, 10/16, 11/20, 12/11, 1/22, 2/19, 3/26, 4/16, 5/21
Lunch Bunch will be held 5 times during the school year and will coincide with the Staff Luncheons.  (See dates listed under Staff Luncheons above.) A minimum of two volunteers will be needed per classroom to help supervise students during lunch and recess. This allows the teachers to enjoy a well-deserved luncheon provided by parent volunteers. Lunch Bunch Coordinators are the PTO Staff Appreciation Coordinator(s).

Every May, schools around the country spend one week honoring teachers and staff. This school year, Teacher Appreciation Week will be celebrated May 4-8. Volunteers are needed to help prepare for the week’s events. This may consist of purchasing items paid for by the PTO, putting together items, and making sure the teachers receive the items.
