Please join us for our 1st Annual Scanlan Oaks Elementary Reindeer Run and Auction. The mission of the Reindeer Run is to bring the community together in a fun and healthy way while raising funds to support the educational needs of our students and teachers. In addition, this year we will be asking all participants to bring an unwrapped toy or children's book for our partnership with Shared Dreams and other local charities.
Participants can choose from our 5k race (USATF certified), 1 mile and 1/4 mile races and the Candy Cane Crawl (ages 5 and under) for our littlest reindeer!! COSTUME CONTEST this year!!!

Come for the race and stay for more family fun! Moonwalk, rockwall, refreshments and other fun activities from 11am-1pm.
Live and Silent Auction
Parents - Be sure to check out all of the AMAZING auction items we have available during this year’s Reindeer Run! Auction packages will be on display in the cafeteria during the morning festivities. This year, we will have both a silent auction and a live auction with items including trips, a Mardi Gras Galveston weekend extravaganza, a fully catered wine dinner party, autographed sports memorabilia, spa day luxury items, rodeo packages, a purebred irresistible puppy, and even a full body health screening! If that’s not enough, you won’t want to miss the chance to bid on packages like “Principal for the Day” and a very special grade level progressive dinner for parents. Also new this year will be our “100 for $100” raffle where the winner will be able to pick ANY one live auction package that they want!!
Visit the Scanlan Oaks Elementary cafeteria from 11am-1pm to bid on silent auction items, class projects and teacher outings. Live auction bidding begins at 12:30pm SHARP!

**All children under the age of 4 must be accompanied by an adult on race course. No bikes, skates, wagons or pets.**
Awards: 5k participants will compete for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place by gender and in 9 age group categories. Overall Male and Female 5k winners will receive prizes in addition to trophies. Every child is a winner! All children who participate in a race will receive a medal.

Parking: Shuttle service is available at the Sienna Plantation Golf Club on Waters Lake Blvd. Shuttles will run between Sienna Plantation Golf Club and Scanlan Oaks Elementary from 8:30 am - 2 pm.
